Legendary Pictures, the group responsible for Superman Returns are finalizing plans to reintroduce the Eighties heroic fictional character in a 2007 avatar. Last time He-Man hit the big screen was in 1987, when Cannon films produced a live-action film, Masters of the Universe, which starred Dolph Lundgren.

This story is not true. Legendary Pictures have issued a statement denying that they have any involvement in the project. It was just a rumour started by The Sun tabloid in the UK, who is not known for the accuracy of their sources.
