I am terribly confused and frustrated at the poor marketing done by the official organiser of Miss Malaysia World 2007. I know the event is currently ongoing but not much info given on the official website on when the final event will take place. Other weaknesses of the organiser:
- They ask people to vote for your choice of Miss Malaysia World but the pictures of three of the contestants are not available. Do people vote based on the girls’ shadow? Oh come on! and the well known media involved in this case is Mix.fm. Such a waste of good reputation. Are they allowing only selected girls to be voted? Is that fair?
- No info on the activities currently organised for the finalists.
- They ask people to vote but no incentives given to the voters. On their website, yup there’s a link to “Contest” but hey man, it’s not working at all!
- Not enough mass-marketing done to promote Miss World Malaysia pageant. May be they should hire Nuffnang.com or Advertlets.com to do the job. Shame on them.

This is what actually happens behind the curtains. All the contestants have been evaluated in person, one by one, from one level to another level, and the results are already in hand even before they take up the stage or to photoshoot session.
Yes, it is very unfair not to post up the pictures of other few contestants, yet as I said, the results are already in hand, so it would not actually affect either the contestants or the competition.
And, you do not want to know the rest.
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article Personals @ Syokkahwin.com, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
wow I am soOOoo very proud of our Miss World- Deborah Priya Henry. Watching this delayed telecast in Singapore - Watching our very own did so well I cant help but to find somewhere to post this message to congratulate and to say Kudos to Deborah, kudos to Malaysia!
Appreciating our true multi-cultural and multi-race country - Malaysia - truly Asia, I only hope that our country would be more united and do better economically.
