I just came back from Bintulu, Sarawak for some business trip (reason has not been posting that frequent for the last few days). Bintulu, overall was an okay city. Food? Although failed to appeal to my tastebud, I felt however I could still survive, after all I was once a boyscout..haha..(shhh..dun tell other ppl haa)! But I ate something new..Umai..Anyone has heard of this food? At the hotel, I only have limited access to the internet and I reply to my business mails through my PDA because the cost of the internet access was simply extortionately high. However, the business trip/break has allowed me to rethink and re-strategise my plans for this blog and my main website, Syokkahwin.com and managed to come up with many different ideas to post to this blog as well. So, keep coming back for more juicy, sexy and hot stuff be it about Malaysian, Singaporean and Indonesian celebrities, supermodels, weddings, gubahan hantaran, make-up class, funny clips from youtube and other wonderful stuff.
On my way back, thought of posting about Air Asia and Malaysia Airlines Air Stewardesses. Both airlines have the habit of hiring young beautiful girls as compared to those airlines in the west and middle east where the average age of the air hostesses could be in the range of 30-40. No wonder we charge premium rates for our flight tickets. Well would you rather be served by a handsome boy or Pakcik? Beautiful ladies or Nenek? I guess they are right in saying that pretty faces have a price. Check out these two wonderful ladies doing their safety stuff onboard.

NOT SURE WHO TOOK THIS CLIP, BUT DEFINITELY NOT ME..Damn, the extent of male peversions on Air Stewardesses. No wonder they created a special clip called “Aksi Pramugara Terlampau” long time ago! People..pls behave..!
The Japanese have taken this male perversions a step further. They capitalise on it by creating Stewardess fantasy club, called Air Touch, in Osaka. Why they call it Air “Touch” is still beyond me..;-D. At club Air Touch, customers receive MORE than earphones and a blanket. Not sure if they have similar thing in Thailand!

Come on la. You know why all the stewardess are wearing short, tight and body fitted dress? Alasannya, the flight will safely reaches the destinations because there’ll be sure NO BOMBS are carried by them.

harapan wada …..sewaktu bertugas sebagai peramugari…..kita kena berhati hati bila berbicara…..kalaupon hanya setakat bergurau dgn teman ..kena lah pandang kiri atau kanan……mana lah tahu kalau ada penumpang lain..kan…takut mereka salah faham plak….kalau da kena complaint..sendiri yg susah………….yehaaaa!!!!!!…..paling suka naik air france….dpt makan cekelatttttmanyak manyakk!! beshhh!!
walaupun bukan semua stewardess ni nak cari big fish, tapi disebabkan golongan diaorang ni, yang lain pun dapat nama tak best jugak…setakat nak penuhkan poket diaorang tu satu hal…selalunya habis rumahtangga orang lain pun porak-peranda jadinya.

26.JULY.08 : Hey peeps!!! Im here to blog about my disappointment with Air Asia. 3 months ago(April 08), AA started the BALI-KUCHING route and my friends and I grabbed it a mth later as the fare was increasing by the week and at a very reasonable rate for traveling in (sept 08). A month later, we booked our hotel and tour packages via online and fully secured our bookings as per requirements. All went well and we were counting down the days, until recently, about a week ago, rumours online had it that AA’s last flight for KCH-BALI is on Aug 23rd, all passengers traveling after that will have a full refund.
Immediately, I called the AA customer service (I was put on hold for 20 minutes) to confirm about it and the not so friendly staff said that it is true. I asked why hasn’t anyone informed us, and she said that they have many passengers to call, just wait. Up to today, not even an email, sms or a phone call from AA.
I’m fine with the 100% refund, but what about my hotel and tour bookings that I’ve paid for?( not via AA website) Ive checked with the hotel and they can’t give us a 100% refund due to company policy.
I know the hotel n tour bookings has nothing to do with AA, but come on, pls find a solution by re-routing us probably via KUL with no additional charges as im not prepared to pay a cent more. This is not my fault but im certainly sure AA cancelled the route to BALI bcoz of poor response.
We could only book our hotel n tour after securing our flight bookings. Of coz no one would book their hotel n tour 1st before getting their air tickets right? Everythg these days are like “book early and get a cheaper price’. And that was what we did.
How can we have confidence in AA now when they have their promo on cheap airfares , like buy NOW and travel period only valid in 6mths time, eg. in 2009. crazy!!! Yes, the airfare will be cheap but of coz ppl would make advance ground bookings too. N travel agents cant give full refund too as it is beyond their control and they have credit card surcharges and currency exchange rates to be taken into consideration too.
I will be waiting for AA to contact me personally abt this and make it official, and if AA doesn’t want to fly us to BALI via KUL, I will publish my complain in the The Star etc and consumer rights. I am NOT joking and im taking this seriously, not only for myself but for the rest of the passengers. And the other option that I’ll give them is to give us our full refund for our hotel n tour.
I am also prepared to take this matter to higher level if they ignore us. We did send an email to AA customer service regarding this matter and was only fooled to be replied by a computer generated email which said that,‘due to the overwhelming response we r unable to reply to u now’, HUH! Probably overwhelming complains!
Im posting this letter just to inform everyone abt this matter and be extra careful when u purchase ur AA ticket way in advance coz u never know what will happen , incase uve made ur accommodations bookings like me.
Ala..ikutkan dorang ni pun ala2 waitress cuma standard sket lah pasal dlam kapal terbang..dapat allowance byk..jalan kat tempat org.
asal kn cari rezeki halal…..
jadi peramugari ni banyak kelebehan nya…..selain dpt melihat negara luar..dpt kita menimba pengalaman..berjumpa dgn berbagai lapisan bangsa dan budaya….serta bahasa ibunda mereka..selain mempromosikan negara MALAYSIA di mata dunia….kita jugak harus bijak berinteraksi dgn para penumpang..cuma kalau bole jaga lah keperibadian kita……pertuturan kita..agar jgn sampai tanpa kita sendiri..kita jadi bahan jelingan sinis dan ejekan dari orang…….akibat perlakuan diri kira sendiri…..

Dear Sazreena, nampaknye Cik kurang memahami kerjaya pramugari. Melainkan bertugas sebagai ‘waitress’ as you say, pramugari juga fasih dalam Inflight Safety and Emergency, First Aid and pertolongan kecemasan dalam pasawat, protocol dif2 berhormat and kesultanan, general knowledge, geography and cultural requirements and Food and Beverage. Makeup pun tip top.

memang kerja rumit jadi peramugari nih..tapi kadang kadang abg man tenguk ada yg mengeruk di air yang jernih..paham paham suder ler…:)))
MAS Airlines air stewardess/ clothes are just nice, just right.
Their hair grooming, face make up, and overall appearance are just nice, just right.
MAS Airlines air stewardess appeals to BOTH men and women. They look elegant and respectable.
However,
Air Asia airlines stewardess clothes are tacky, borderline cheap.
Overall hair, facial makeup, appearance are like cheap women. Macam perempuan murahan.
They may appeal to men (both the young/old bachelor type and the married gatal type), but not to women, especially the married ones.
At the risk of sounding feminist, I will say that how the Air Asia stewardess dress up and put on their make up, is insulting to women. They re-enforce the notion that women are just objects of pleasure for men and for making money. As for women in general public, they threaten the marital/relationship harmony of female passengers.
My advice to all air stewardess, especially from Air Asia, please take care not to be or appear too sexy/flirtatious or easy. You might cause problems in other people’s marriage/relationship. And if that doesnt bother you- well just remember- what goes around, comes around.
pernah abg man naik plane Air Asia…..alamakkk…….dia punya peramugari……satu satu yg ada make up………tepong komak pong kalah…gincu bibir mcm nak main wayang cina opera……..tapi bukan semua mcm tuh..ada lahhhh….yg terover budget……:))
The fascination that surrounds stewardesses is nothing short of amazing. A huge part of the job entails good PR skills, which unfortunately, a huge part of the male gender miscontrue as flirting.

Dear Priya, being a flight attendant is not all that it is hyped to be. Think very carefully and discuss all its possibilities with your folks. Most airlines now have a term contract, which means you need to work for them for a stipulated period of time. This job NEEDS dedication, passion and most of all, patience and a whole lot of common sense and knowledge. I suggest you log on to http://www.malaysiaairlinesblog.com and read some of the employees blogs. There are a number written by crew; Gina Tan, Lim Siew Hoon, Mona Maria, Charles Cabrini. Mona,especially, tells it like it is. So go ahead and check it out, ya..

apa pon..abg man respect pada yg betul betul kerja dan melakukan yg terbaek pada airline mereka……
Dulu berangan gak nak jadi peramugari, tapi nasib baik tuhan bagi badan semakin lama semakin tembun, so, terselamatlah aku dari benda2 yang korang tengah debatkan ini..Alhamdulillah..
Memang benar pakaian stewardess ni ditentukan oleh syarikat mereka.
Memang benar mereka diberi latihan yang secukupnya (grooming).
Memang benar kerja mereka bukan senang, kerja kilang pun susah jugak kan.
Memang benar ramai yang ikhlas bekerja untuk memperjuangkan hidup didunia ni…infact not only stewardess malahan semua insan.
Tetapi seperti kata mantoba, segelintir yang buat perangai, yang lain pun terkena juga…bak kata pepatah, kerana nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga…jadi Sendiri Mahu Ingatlah kan.

maverick17271 —- what geography? I have a few stewardess friends who are dumb as ass. They speak English sparingly but think their grasp of the English language is excellent. They don’t want to even consider orang Melayu because they think the orang Melayu is unworthy of them. Yang sungguh kesihan sekali, mereka berkenan Orang Putih kerana ingin anak-anak yang lawa. Walaupun tua, mereka sanggup!
Memang tidak semua stewardess yang bergini tetapi profession ini adalah haram kerana mereka serve alcohol. Yang kedua, mereka ke luar negara tanpa mahram mereka. Pergaulan mereka juga bebas. Nauzubillah.
If you notice too, many flight attendants are very materialistic. They only buy the Gucci and LV and Prada. Somehow their socio-culture changes when they become a high class waitress.

Haram and Halal is subjective; as in one person’s understanding of it differs from the next. If our Muslim Council truly feels it is against any religious conduct and fatwa, then surely they would ban Muslims from being employed as Cabin Crew. Such as they did Muslims in beauty pageants.

A lot of air asia stewardess is having an affair with their captain. What’s ur opnion?? A lot of them is already middle of ages, married and got kids. But the stewardess seems dont care and its happened to the JUNIOR FA (6 months and below).
