KAYANGAN will be released on 9 August 2007 (Thursday) and in conjunction with its release, we are giving away ONE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK CD of Kayangan. All you have to do is to tell us your most romantic moment that has ever happened in your life (in the comments box). It can be written in Bahasa Melayu or English and should be no less than 25 words. Closing date of the contest is 5 August 2007. In order to participate, please ensure that you have filled in the email box with a valid email address for us to contact you should you win. Results will be announced on 9 August 2007.

The song that catches my fancy is the duet between Ajai and YM Tuanku Dato’ Seri Mimi Wahida Wahman, which is also the theme song of the film. But my biggest disappointment would be mostly on the sound production of the movie. It makes it like a second-rate movie.

YM Tuanku Dato’ Seri Mimi Wahida Wahman who is also the wife of Y.M. Tunku Dato’ Seri Nadzaruddin ibni Tuanku Ja’afar has been the backbone of the movie storyline. The story is basically about love, class levels and wrong relationships. Amongst the line-up are Fazura, Opie, Dynaz, Teuku Iskandar, Julia Ziegler, Nazril Idrus, Ahmad Busu, Ziela Jalil, Mustapha Kamal and Louisa Chong.

Even though, the movie has been released a year ago. which I watched at the cinema. I would like to say it is a good story and I love it. I love Fazura, Teuku Iskandar. Its good to watch a fresh face on the screen. Tg Mimi if you’re reading this. I would like to suggest that “Kayangan” to continue as a TV drama to carry on from the last part of the movie(that was beautiful). Which sees Mas continue to work with amir and become his girlfriend, with harassament from the ex-girlfren. The daily life in the office. The stronger side of Amir’s sister after dumping Hairi and so on. I love Kayangan but unfortunately it didn’t receive well by the public not because it was not good but I strongly think that there was lack of promotion. Tg Mimi don’t give up continue to write good story.
