It was not until I am in the twenties that I got my real man haircut. Otherwise it has always been the same style and the same place that I got my haircut from. I can still remember the name of the shop, BINTANG TIMUR, on Jalan Penggaram, Batu Pahat. To the extent that the barber and i call each other by names. To me in those years, it’s either a haircut at the BINTANG TIMUR shop or with my mom. Well, if I picked my mom to do the trimming, I was really sure how i was gonna end up look like. Mawi! Botak…head..Don’t expect her to cut your hair like Tom Cruise or back in those days, Buck Rogers in Battlestar Galactica. I guess her skills with scissors only good for “cutting cloth” to make “baju kurung“..

So, that was life like in my growing up years. But nowadays, I don’t limit myself to that old BINTANG TIMUR SHOP anymore.. I guess most of you have become sophisticated in choosing your hairstyles too especially the female. The kind of hairsytle that is considered as “in” normally are those currently being displayed by the celebrities. So which celebrity should you follow:

Still rmmber 1 incident msa secondary school dlu .. Masuk kdai cina nak gunting rmbut stail baru .. so tunjuk la kat satu poster ni .. tup2 dr rmbut pnjng paras ktiak dah nak jadi ala sinead o’cnr!! rupa2nya apek tu trsalah tgok poster!!! apa lagi .. bila apek tu tgok dah ada org nak mletup .. smpat lagi apek tu leh puji knon rambut pndek pun ttap cantik n trus kata x payah bayar!!! On da way balik umah, ada 2 org makcik tgur rambut dah ala tentera .. sakit hati malu nya pasal.. brkurung dlm bilik mnangis smpai x kuar umah sminggu (nsb baik tgh cuti skolah masa tu!)
