There is a new concept store in town and the owner is none other than the daughter of Datin Jeanne Abdullah and Datuk Seri Abdullah. I believe it’s a joint venture with another high profile partner. The Emperor’s New Clothes is a actually a fairy tale by a Danish poet and author, Hans Christian Andersen about an emperor who unwittingly hires two swindlers to create a new suit of clothes for him. But later they have actually created nothing out of spite and decided to make the Emperor who narcisstically cares so much about his clothes eat a humble by saying that the clothes are so magical that they are invisible to anyone who is not fit his position or stupid. The Emperor believed them, so he walked down the street in a street processession with nothing on. So the story goes. I am not sure why the owners had named the shop The Emperor’s New Clothes based on this story. My guess is as good as yours. Will you be convinced to wear your baby suit as you step into the shop? or perhaps the clothes are so high quality and stylish that only certain people can wear them? But then again according to the story, the clothes are neither here nor there. I am confused. Ruben, help me out here man!

So IRONIC! Abdullah was invited to this store and he didn’t know he was being mocked!? He is the EMPEROR with his new clothes! No one dares (or could) tell him that his governing of this country is much to be desired! Everyone is saying what a brilliant PM he is, which is not the case. I’m hoping the people who opened this store are that smart to cucuk him…but I think they didn’t even know this is the actual meaning of the phrase. Didn’t go to school I guess
they have the money… so what?!
Pak Lah has nothing to do with this boutique…
it’s not that i was a “big fan” of him…
let them be…. we have to stop condemed malay business…
at least they have the brain to do something rather than sit at home, receiving government money….
and it’s not fair to judge people…
as for me… i think KJ take this opportunity ( or should i say take advantage? )to build his new empire….

P beli kain kt Nagoya wat bju kurung, dah alhmdulillah syukur eden brbaju laie..
