National astronaut, Mejar Dr. Faiz Khaleed has been appointed as the icon for our national service (PROGRAM LATIHAN KHIDMAT NEGARA). His selection has been announced by YBhg. Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Pekan yesterday. Dr. Faiz is regarded as someone with steel spirit and determination in realising national mission by undergoing extraordinary tests and challenges. Dr. Faiz, 28 will be making rounds at NATIONAL SERVICE CENTRE starting this MARCH. In another story, MAYA KARIN will be out and about to support the wild life and nature. Activities that she will be carrying out ties in well with her duyung movie. Recently, MAYA was noted to be involved with RAPTOR watch and TURTLE TRACKING with Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar.
