This is what will replace the current PERODUA KEMBARA MODEL! It will be based on Daihatsu Terios which has already been released in INDONESIA. Immediately on the heels of the recall of PROTON SAVVY which is due to wheelbearing faults, there’s no better time for PERODUA to launch the new KEMBARA other than MAY 2008. It will be the smallest 4×4 around, powered by a 103bhp, 1.5-litre DVVT DOHC petrol. The car weighs 1230kg. Fuel consumption is rated at 8.6 liters per 100km. The concept model shown uses 18 inch alloy rims with 235/55/R18 tyres. From what I understand, it will be priced higher than the price of the current PERODUA KEMBARA!
