In an interesting turn of event, KRU Studios has announced their plan to co-produce a Hollywood Movie titled Deadline, a thriller starring Brittany Murphy and Thora Birch. To this effect, KRU STUDIOs has signed an agreement with American Film Company, Enso Entertainment, whose president Roger Betterton according to Norman, had seen their films such as Cicak-Man and Duyung. The movie will be directed by Sean McConville and Art Director will be Steve Arnold who has previous credit includes Spiderman and Van Helsing. However he refused to let us in on the budget which could run up to USD70 millions. The film is expected to be released in mid-2009. Congrats to KRU. This is a big risk that they are taking and a box office can get them double the amount while a flop can cost them a bankruptcy. It Malaysia it could probably fetch USD1 million, and around the world? USD60 million is a possibility. All the best to them anyway. Nothing ventured nothing gain!

ternantikan perubahan filem malaysia…. diharap pihak kerajaan mengurangkan sekatan dalam penapisan filem (finas)….
Sebab: filem asing berleluasa boleh tayang adegan ganas tapi filem kita asyik-asyik kena potong… mana nak menarik….
pihak polis sentiasa baik dalam filem kita… kalau kena tembak pun tak mati….kalau filem asing lebih logik diterima akal… mesti ada pro dan kontra… bukan membanggakan filem asing.. tapi masih menantikan perubahan filem malaysia….
