BEIJING 2008 Olympics is currently underway. As such our focus this week on a Chinese athlete with gold potential. Guo Jing Jing is the princess of diving, just like Maria Sharapova to tennis. Guo Jing Jing was born in Baoding, Hebei province, on October 15, 1981, she started training in competitive diving in 1988. She took up diving when she was six-years-old at the Baoding Training Base. In 1992, she was selected to dive for the Chinese national team. Her current coach is Zhong Shaozhen. Possessing a pretty face, Jing Jing was the face of McDonald’s in China!
