Pernikahan Shamsul Anuar Musa (SAM) dan Diana Yusof

I was at my friend’s nikah this afternoon at Kelana Jaya mosque in SS2. Sam and me goes way back. This was the first time at this mosque, although it was quite old, it is equipped with an air conditioner. The event started at around 5 pm, after a long sermon by the Imam, the akad went well with only one lafaz. I guess Sam must have been practising it in his head. This ended a long wait for him. He’s now 32. I also married late at 31 . Oh well.. I wish him all the best. Wedding will take place in July. I guess the they didn’t get the booking at the right date.

A lot of people have also been asking me how to decorate their gubahan hantaran. Here’s how to do it in the simplest way possible. All you need is some flowers either in the same colour category as your pelapik hantaran or red.  Whatever it is make sure it has some contrast to make it stand out. Some people also like to use butterflies and some small branches. Then get some renda-renda or some patterned ribbons. Wrap it around your cage, box etc. Then you are done. Easy isn’t it? Forget bunga dip or bunga stokin. They only cost slightly lower that what you got by buying the ready made at the shop. Check out one contoh gubahan hantaran below:
