Adik Manja is back after 29 years hiatus. The new movie will be directed by Dharma Harun, one of the actors of the original movie. Adik Manja Returns will be produced by Dharma’s own production house, Adik Manja Sdn Bhd with a cost around RM1.5 million and will take place mostly at Universiti Multimedia, Cyberjaya. However, the latest Adik Manja will no longer feature the funny acts of Adibah Amin and Noor Kumalasari. This time around, the line up will consists of Scha, Rozita Che Wan, Jihan, Kenchana Dewi, Fida, Faezah Elai and Dharma himself. It’s the comedic nature and the firmness of Adibah Amin and the love story between Dharma and Noor Kumalasari that has brought Adik Manja to box-office. I hope these elements remain.
