Meyanaliza Ruslee, 33, atau Maya has finally tied the knot at a very moderate occassion today to Tengku Shahreza, 38 a close blood to Pahang royal family. On a day that Michael Jackson dies, really appreciative that there is another story to brighten up my day. Pasangan ini dinikahkan oleh Penolong Pendaftar Nikah Masjid Darul Ehsan, Muhamad Khairi Hussein manakala abang sulung Maya, Harris Faizal Ruslee bertindak selaku wali pengantin perempuan. Maya turut menerima mas kahwin sebanyak RM80 tetapi pelakon dan penyanyi itu bagaimanapun ingin merahsiakan wang hantaran yang diterimanya. This is refreshing. No point mentioning to people when they will end up criticizing or making up stories about you.

Maya was engaged to Reza on the recent 4th June. Reza first met Maya on 23 November 2003, when the singer made a special performance on his dad’ (Tengku Panglima Perang Pahang), Tengku Abdul Aziz Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar s birthday. It took Reza close to one year to seduce Maya into his hands and in the end it’s all worth it. Maya was reluctant at first to get close to Reza due to his status, but seeing his humility and honesty, she finally melted. Maya will hold her wedding reception in Batu Pahat, Johor on 3rd October 2009. We wish her all the best in her new life. Who else already passed their 30′s and getting married soon? Umie Aida…Ella? Will see.
