I Love You Beth Cooper – Movie Review

It’s probably one of the best movies after American Pie. “I Love You Beth Cooper” chronicles the story of a nerdy valedictorian who proclaims his love for the hottest and most popular girl in school – Beth Cooper – during his graduation speech. Much to his surprise, Beth shows up at his door that very night and decides to show him the best night of his life. I Love You, Beth Cooper is the story of one Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust),  who is every mom’s dream son, a perfect student: straight As, total gent and lovable geek. He never experiences the true joys of school though–that of getting drunk, getting into fights and most importantly, getting laid. Not until his high school graduation speech at least, in which he blurts out five words that will change his life forever: “I love you, Beth Cooper.” That’s the Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere), who only happens to be the hottest girl in school. What happens after that is for you to find out . It does show a lot of funny sides of American high school teenagers beyond proms.
