Malaysia’ MOL Taking Over Friendster?

It’s really a bad move for Malaysia Online Portal (MOL). Friendster is sinking into oblivion and they are taking it over. The owner of friendster knows that although membership is claimed to stand at over 110 million, significant majority of them are inactive users such as myself. Majority of teens now use Blackberry, tweet a lot and on facebook all the time. Friendster has become so brutally unfashionable. There are symptoms that Friendster is sick from the several make-over the social website had undergone in the last few years to keep up with competitors such as facebook. In fact, Friendster now looks very much FACEBOOK. Thus it’s time to cash out. The first thing that they should before taking over FRIENDSTER is to look at the statistics of active users.
SEE THE SIMILARITIES TO FACEBOOK? THERE’S A SHOUTBOX NOW.
But here’s a reality check, even the leading social media such as FACEBOOK struggle to make ends meet, let alone its rivals such as myspace and friendster.
