In a disappointing news to all Malaysians today, Datuk Tony Fernandes has failed in his bid to take over West Ham Football Club. It was a neck t0 neck battle but in the hand the game went to David Sullivan. The failure was cited to be due to Tony’s inability to secure 100% ownership of the club, unlike David who agreed to have partial ownership. Now the future may look bleak for current West Ham’s manager, Gianfranco Zola. It was a double whammy frustration for Tony whose Lotus F1 team failed to secure PETRONAS sponsorship last month.
